Great food and great staff

This is the best place to go for a boujee brunch.onkycserved until 11am, which is something to bear in mind.Loved coming here for a catch up with the girls, that specials menu is great and the coffees are always good.It's not super cozy, but the decor is lovely and in summer the out door seating is fantastic.Sometimes felt a little rushed by the staff, even when it wasn't that busy, but that's no beef really.

Just fantastic all the way around. Imacculately clean, exceptionally good service, the menu is very diverse and lastly? The prices are very affordable. They offer breakfast, lunch and a Sunday Brunch. We loved our selections at lunch. Mountainside Cafe offers wonderful baked goods as well! The beverage selections were wonderful as well. I had the most delicious Caramel Latte! We will definitely be frequenting this little gem of an eatery!

We love hanging out. Last night we arrived in this excellent place which friends told us about. We spent a delightful evening there with excellent cooking and an efficient stuff and a professional chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will surely go again soon. We deeply recommend.

I always enjoy stopping in at Mountainside Cafe for whatever my hunger monster is craving. I keep a clean diet and it is not hard to find an option. My friends who are not as picky are always satisfied as well. Staff is always upbeat and on time which is a bonus.

Breakfast after camping on a racetrack at Lime Rock Park truly hits the spot before the ride home.

Really nice place. Very friendly staff, and great gluten free options. Cool feature, menu is completely hand drawn. Bathrooms are very clean and polished. Nice atmosphere. Great spot to stop asking the way on the Appalachian trail.

Terrific fresh food with great flavor combinations. Wonderful atmosphere and appealing interior and outdoor seating. You can wander in with your backpack and boots, yet fit in with the business lunchers.

Great little gem! Went there after spending time on the slopes. The food tasted very good and was well presented. We ordered omelettes, burgers and drinks. I would definitely go back. It roughly sits 50 people, if the parking lot is full, it is most likely full inside. I cannot give half stars so it would of been 4.5 just because of the toilet smell that was there for a little while.

Farm to table! Delicious homemade baked goods. I had the pastrami Ruben with sweet potato fries and my wife had the chicken salad wrap with fries. Both sandwiches were huge and delicious 😋! Apple cider with cinnamon and slice of granny smith apple floating on top served either hot or cold( we had cold). The service was top notch. All good served timely in a cozy atmosphere where you could smell the fresh ground coffee and the aromas from the kitchen. Super clean and large bathrooms 👌! A great surprise on our journey through Connecticut. 👍👍👍👍😁✌

Take a word of advice from Apple cider "junkie" - the best apple cider I ever had in my life!! Out of this world, must try, visit just for that!!Great atmosphere, amazing staff and delicious food. This is my favorite spot for breakfast as of right now!

My girl friends & I were in the area for a nice drive on New Year's day & didn't know the area. We did a quick search & ended up at Mountainside Café. It was worth a visit. We enjoyed their great food, quaint atmosphere & helpful/friendly staff. We are going to make this our spot to visit & grab a bite from now on when we are in that area.

Nice cozy place with good food and dent service. Nice array of gluten free choices (bread for burgers and GF pancakes). Prices were good too. Great stop before or after the race at Lime Rock Park.

Tucked into the side of the road and very unpretentious. Booths and tables inside with comfy seating and no crowding. Then there is the menue......yummy. Also hear they do a fantabulous Sunday brunch. Wonderful staff who aplologized that the Valentine crowd had eaten them out of all yummy desserts but one, so we had to "settle" for the flourless chocolate torte. Rich and smooth. I'll meet my friends there again even if it is a 90 min. drive for me.

Stop at this quaint little place for breakfast on our way to VT. Farm fresh food that was prepared perfectly. My husband had eggs with apple smoke bacon. Best bacon we ever tasted..cooked just right and not at all salty...
